I have a little startup saying, "if we just get a little better every day in short order we will be good." It seems to work in environments where "everything is broken but some how seems to work."
On the food thing I hired a personal trainer a few years ago. He made me count calories via MyFitnessPal. I had never counted cals in my life. It took about less than two weeks to learn the processed foods I needed to cut out of my diet. It also made me do Sunday food prep for lunches during the week. End result is eating better food at a lower cost.
This is so relatable- listens to one podcast about an ideal morning routine and immediately have to do all 17 steps the next day 😅 As a fellow health nut and someone with limited time to make everything homemade, I’ve been using Sakara Life for about a year for lunches! All organic, vegan, whole foods delivered to your door in perfectly portioned meals (and the dressings are next level). The founders are two badass women too!
Oooo -- I've heard of Sakara and now I have a real world endorsement to pass along to others! Organic, vegan, whole food, women-founded....dreams coming true!
It's hard to cook everything from scratch on an urban homestead, follow a 17 step morning routine, meditate for 6 hours per day, and found the next unicorn company 🙃😂😁
love this especially because I try to eat 90% healthy (and maybe unhealthy ice cream sometimes). Thanks for the recipes, I was just messing around with energy bites a week ago.
Ha! We eat ice cream too occasionally...with some plans to make our own this summer! It is not a "quick" recipe though :) Energy bites are amazing -- sometimes too delicious though because I eat the whole batch in a day!

Love this story! Yes, side benefit to healthier, homecooked food is...big savings on the grocery bill.
The little better every day reminds me of the UK Cycling Team...https://jamesclear.com/marginal-gains
